You can use Channable to import all your product catalogs from various sources, including webshops, marketplaces, and comparison sites, to create custom feeds; furthermore, you can obtain a CSV to generate multiple ad variations based on those feeds with the help of the Feed, additionally, with Ad Serving, you can serve your creatives directly from Creatopy.

Setting up your Feed in Channable
- Open your Project.
- Go to Setup and select Setup import.
- Choose your import connection (Google Sheets, Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace, Weebly, etc.)
- Type a name for your import.
- Next, you can map your fields according to your needs.
- You can go to Edit to adjust the project field according to its type (Text, Number, Time, Image, GTIN, Object)
- Once done, click Save & Import.
- From the Setup import page, click on Run now to enable the Feed.
- To get the CSV link, you can go to Feeds, click on Preview, copy the link, and save it for later, as you will need to paste it into Creatopy later.
How to Import your Channable Feed
- Once you finish your design, go to Feed, located on the left sidebar.
- Click Create Feed.
- Click Import content.
- Select Sync from URL and paste the CSV link copied from Channable previously.
- Click Confirm link.
- Adjust Feed settings as needed.
- Sync Feed content. Set the frequency for updating your feed content.
- List separator type. Set the separator type for your file.
- Target ID. If you set up target IDs in your file, select the appropriate column from the dropdown menu. Otherwise, use the Row index option¹.
- Click Import content.
- You will have a preview of the feed content where you can:
- Rename your feed.
- View the contents of your feed.
- Adjust feed settings.
- Click Apply feed.
Bind the Feed with your Creative
- Select the layer from your design.
- Head over to the Properties bar.
- Click the Diamond icon to connect a layer property to your feed's variables.
Download the Ad Variations
Once the bindings are complete, you can go ahead and export your ad variations. This will use your export credits allocated to your subscription plan.
- Head over to Download.
- Select your desired format.
- Under the Feed Rows section, you can:
- Select Current row preview.
- Select the range of rows you'd like to download.
- Click Download.
Automate your Creative with Ad Serving
- Enable Ad Serving.
- From the Ad Serving card, you can:
- Enable ClickTag².
- You can Bind the URL from your feed.
- Or you can type in the URL manually.
- Set up External Tracking (optional).
- Set up Dynamic variables (optional).
- Enable ClickTag².
- To obtain the ad tag, you can either:
- Download as XLS. A Spreadsheet is downloaded to your computer where you can copy the ad tag.
- Copy code. The ad tag will be copied to your clipboard.
- Before uploading the ad tag to your DSP, adjust the macro as follows:
- In the "feedRow" column, replace {FEED_ROW} with the row number you want to show your audience.
- Copy the adjusted code into your Ad Network as a 3rd party tag.
Following these steps, you can simplify your life by making live changes without pausing your campaign, synchronizing your data without uploading your feed again, and reviewing reports and analytics.
Note¹: You can use IDs of less than 100 characters once the feed content is set up.
Note²: Any Go to URL attached to an existing layer from the design is overwritten by the ClickTag.
