If your rich-media ads are not delivered, a fallback ad will appear instead.
This might happen if you target specific people or pages with your ads by utilizing visitor or display criteria. Or perhaps you sold an ad space and want to guarantee that another ad appears as soon as the paid campaign is over.
In this situation, the solution is a fallback ad. It is an ad without limitations that will run extensively if a better-paid campaign is unavailable.
How to set up a Fallback Image in Creatopy
- Open your Design/Design set.
- Click on Timeline.
- Click & Drag the
Fallback Image icon to adjust where you want to set up the Fallback Image.
- Click Download.
- Click HTML.
- Under the Fallback Image section, you have the following options:
- Select Include a JPG fallback image in your ZIP file.
- Click on Download the fallback image (if you wish to have the Fallback Image separate from your .zip file.
- Click Download.
Note¹: You can only set a Fallback Image for the first slide of your Design.
Note²: If you're working on a Design Set, the Fallback Image has to be set individually for each size.
