Communication is essential, and you surely know this as you constantly want to stay connected with your team and clients.
This shouldn't be a struggle, so Creatopy turns the situation into a user and client-friendly experience.
Get rid of all the back-and-forth emails, and interact with your colleagues or other viewers without having to leave the app. You can do this straight from the design environment or through the Share link option using Comments.
The comments work in real-time, and you can choose a status (unresolved or resolved), which will be visible immediately. This feature also allows you to mention other users, reply, and pinpoint comments on any design section.
1. Comments in the Editor
The process of leaving a comment is simple and intuitive. Go to the Editor, and search for the Comments button located in the top right corner of your screen. Once you've opened up the Comments section, you can add a highlight on your design which acts as a marker that helps you get a better context on the exchanged information. Just select the area that you wish to highlight, leave the comment and click Save. You can also add mentions using "@username", an attachment* (if you are logged in), or set a specific "reveal time" on the marker so that the comment will pop up along with certain elements and is only visible while those assets are showcased in the design's Timeline.
2. Comments in the Generator
The same rules apply for the Generator, with just one extra twist that allows you to mark multiple designs from the list view of all the sizes on which you are working. All other functionalities are the same as the ones presented for the Editor, and you can work on them individually in the edit mode.
3. Comments in the Sharelink
You can also use the Comments feature from the Share Link option in the same manner whenever you want to communicate changes or updates with your clients. This comes in handy when you want to work with people outside your organization who don't have an account in Creatopy but are still involved in the decision-making process of the design.
Just copy the design's Share link and send it to your clients for review. They can reply and even mark the task as completed after you've made the requested changes.
4. Privacy Settings
Some comments may address only your team without the need of giving your viewers access to these discussions. If that's the case, you can change the comments' privacy status from the editor when posting them. Click on Editors only, and just like that, your comments become visible only to editors within your team.
Once you receive a comment, a notification will light up in your dashboard right under your design so that you'll always stay on top of your work.
*Note: Only users with an active account can add attachments to the comments, which have a file size limitation of 10MB.
