Google allows you to serve your ads through the use of ad tags, which eliminates the need to upload zip files into your Google Ads account, as they will be replaced, in this case, with an adaptive script.
To start using the ad tag with Google Ads, you first have to grab the actual script from our website and download it as a CSV file.
Once you've managed to generate the tags, your browser should download a CSV file with the following columns:
- Campaign Name & Ad Group Name. They must have the exact same value as the one found in your Campaign
- Placement Name. We recommend using the ad size as a placement name as it must be unique to the ad group.
- Tag. It contains the ad tag of your current design that will run the script to display it across Google Ads.
Note: Before your ads are approved, your tags will have to go through a validation process performed by Google's third-party ad serving team, which can take up to 72 hours.
