Why is this happening?
When you download a file in HTML5 format, and the option Convert custom fonts to SVG is enabled, there is a possibility that the text in the downloaded file will be displaced. This occurs because the text box is converted into SVG, and everything outside the text box is cut off.
How to fix it?
There are a couple of solutions for this issue, such as:
- The optimal solution is to turn off the Convert custom fonts to SVG, which can be found on the Export card after selecting the HTML5 format.
- If you're required to keep the option activated, you can adjust the Line Height of your text to ensure all of it's visible. To do this, select the Text layer > from the Tooltip, go to Text > adjust the Line Height as needed.
- Use line breaks using the Enter key rather than compressing the text box by using click & drag, which usually causes the text to reposition itself.
