This article will guide you in using custom templates within the AI Create flow to generate new ads.
If you've saved custom templates in your project, you can use them to craft Brand templates when using AI Create.
Brand Template Guidelines
AI Create utilizes an advanced AI system to extract assets and brand styles from provided URLs. This information is then used to generate ads automatically or leverage your custom brand templates for a more tailored approach.
Here's what AI Create looks for when using your templates.
- Design type. Depending on your campaign type (display or social ads), AI Create will prioritize templates designed for that specific format to ensure all necessary sizes are available during generation.
-
Required Layers. Your template should include the following layers:
- Headline (fixed height style recommended).
- Logo (SVG or an image).
- Main image.
- Description (fixed height style recommended).
-
Optional layers.
- Button (CTA).
Advanced Customization
By default, AI Create injects styles from your brand kit into the template. However, you can maintian specific layer styles by using designated tags within the layer names on your custom templates. Here's a breakdown of these tags.
- #ignore_layer. This tag excludes the layer entirely, keeping it unchanged in the generated ad.
- #keep_color. This ensures the layer retains its original color style attributes.
- #keep_text. This preserves the layer's text content exactly as defined in the template.
