AI Translate allows you to create translated variations of your creative in just a few seconds. This creates a feed that stores all of the language variations, which you can edit as you please. In this guide, we'll walk you through translating, editing, and exporting your variations.
How to Translate your Creative
- Make sure your creative is ready.
- Make sure no layer or element is selected on the stage.
- Head over to the right sidebar and go to the AI Translate¹ tab.
- Select the languages in which you wish to translate your creative.
- Click Translate design².
How to Make Changes to the Translated Variations
You can double-click on a text layer, which will open the AI Translate Feed panel, from where you can make adjustments, or a second option for which you can find the steps below:
- Go to Feed settings.
- Select Open feed panel.
- From the feed panel, you can see the languages in which the creative was translated.
- Select a row that will open a sidebar from where you can make text adjustments.
How To Download the Translated Variations
Once your translated variations are ready, you can export them. Keep in mind that downloading the translated variations will use export credits allocated to your subscription plan.
- Go to Download.
- Select the format of your export.
- No matter what format you select, you will have a Feed Rows section where you can:
- Download Current row preview.
- Select the range of rows you'd like to download.
Publish your Ads with Ad Serving
When your ads are served through Ad Serving, we automatically detect and display the language based on the end-user's country or browser language⁴.
- Enable Ad Serving.
- From the Ad Serving card, you can:
- Enable ClickTag³.
- Set up External Tracking.
- Set up Dynamic text.
- To obtain the ad tag, you can either:
- Download as XLS or CSV. A Spreadsheet is downloaded to your computer where you can copy the ad tag.
- Copy code. The ad tag will be copied to your clipboard.
Important: If a feed is already applied to your creative, you won't be able to use AI Translate. You'll have to detach the currently active feed to use AI Translate.
Note¹: If your creative doesn't have any text layers, the AI Translate tab doesn't exist.
Note²: You can set fallback fonts as a backup if you've translated your design into languages that don't support special characters for your brand typography.
Note³: If the end-user is in a country or has a browser in a language that's not available in the AI translate list, the default language will be displayed.
Note⁴: Any Go to URL attached to an existing layer from the design is overwritten by the ClickTag.
